I remember playing in this tournament back in the day when I was grinding bonuses and writing a review blog about bonus whoring. Good shits!

Well... Pointe Blank is I am sick of working a 9-5 job and want to make playing poker my career. Back in college, I was a avid bonus whore, scooping bonuses where ever I could get them. I logged a lot of hands and learned a lot about the game. About 5 years ago, I gave up online poker to find a real post-graduate job and live a 'real' life. Well I am now sick of the 'real'job thing and ready to do something I love... PLAY POKER FOR A LIVING!

I feel the best way for me to do this is to lay out a somewhat exact plan for what I am going to do. Going to try and blog about the adventure as it will keep me grounded and on task.

THE PLAN:
I am going to start this adventure out with a messily $500 bankroll and build it from there. I use to always play outside my roll, gamble way to often and as we all know, this is a bad thing. My goal is to roll my bankroll in $10,000 within 3 months and this plan is for that.

$500 Roll
$6.50 STT
$3.30 90-man
$2.20 MTT
$.5/$1 FL 6-Handed
My main focus here is going to be playing the $6.50 STTs. I will be running 5-6 at a time as I completely comfortable multi-tabling even though some believe it reduces ROI but at low-stakes I feel it does not, we will see :D I cannot pass up FTP $1.10 and $2.20 MTT as some of them have large guarantees and a big finish in one would be a big boost to my bankroll without risking a lot
$1000 Roll
$15.00 STT
$12.00 18-man
$5.50 MTT
$1/2 FL 6-handed
Once again my focus here is going to be the $15.00 STTs as it is my bread and butter. Should start playing more cash games here as ROI for me tends to pick up here. MTT will be kept to a minimum however some of the guarantees will need to be player.
$2500 Roll
$36 STT
$24 18-man
$12 MTT & 90-man
$1/$2 FL 6-handed
This level I will share my time between $1/$2 FL 6-handed and $36 STT. My strength in poker is limit poker and I think I will be able to excel my bankroll drastically once I get to this level. If I can prove to myself that I can once again play at the micro-levels, my bankroll should be smoother sailing from here on out
$5000 Roll
$75 STT
$55 18-man
$27 MTT
$2/$4 FL 6-handed
Playing here will be whatever I am hot at and getting the best ROI. Need to remain focused on the end goal of 10K but halfway there

Basic plan but I am going to have to remain flexible and know where to play.

Withdrawals:
To keep myself motivated, I will be withdrawing some of my bankroll for live poker or to buy some things for my poker room(laptop, new desk, flat screen tv) Removing the following from my bankroll every time I play:
STTs: 3% of the buyin
MTTs: 6% of the buyin
Ring Games: 5% of the BBs won
When my total cash out equals FTP's minimum requirement, I will be cashing out. However, to live the dream and 'take a shot' I will be leaving 25% of the cash out on site for a big buy-in tournament because I deserve it! When I win by taking a shot, I will cash out 75% of the winnings and leave only 25% to pad my bankroll.
